Christie Porter, DO, is a skilled and knowledgeable Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and board certified Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, at South Valley Women's Health Care in Bluffdale, Utah. Dr. Porter provides high-quality, patient-centric, compassionate care to the residents of Bluffdale, Salt Lake Valley, and surrounding areas.
Originally from Layton, Dr. Porter is a Utah native. She received her Bachelor of Science from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Midwestern Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine (AZCOM) in Glendale, Arizona.
She completed her residency training at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. Then, she worked as an Assistant Professor of Clinical OB/GYN at the University of Illinois College of Medicine (UICCOM) in Peoria before moving back home to Utah.
Dr. Porter and her family have recently moved back to Utah in 2020. She and her husband are both state natives and love spending time together with their two kids. They also enjoy hiking, biking, and gardening together as a family.
