Jacolin Dehler Shifrar N.P., M.S., C.N.M

EDUCATION

Jackie received her B.S. in nursing at SUNY at Stony Brook New York. She received her OBGyn Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Arizona, Tucson and her Masters in Nursing, Midwifery from the University of Utah, where she graduated Sigma Theta Thau. She is Board certified in Midwifery. 

EXPERIENCE

She is committed to cervical cancer screening and prevention. She serves on the Medical Advisory Board for the UCCP (Utah Cancer Control Program), a program providing services to low income women for cervical cancer screening and treatment. She volunteered on a Medical Mission to Peru to provide the same services to Peruvian women.  In 2019 Jackie received a Recognition Award from ASCCP (American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology) for her 20-year membership and in 2011 she received the Utah Nurse Practitioner award for outstanding practitioner in clinical practice. 

PERSONAL

Jackie is originally from New York and has loved living in Utah. She has two adult sons that live out of state and she is enjoying the empty nesting years with her husband and puppy, “Groot”. She is an avid cyclist – road, mountain and E bike and loves playing pickleball. She expresses her creative side through beading handmade jewelry and knitting.
